Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license is required; CDL may be required depending on assignment.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment used in public works is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks, backhoes, front end loaders, and other equipment for construction and maintenance of streets and facilities.
• Perform maintenance and repair of streets, sidewalks, curbs, and drainage; patch holes and defective surfaces.
• Construct and repair manholes, catch basins, curbs, and concrete work; seal pavement and markings.
