Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America is seeking a Day Street Sweeper for the Longwood, FL area on first shift. The role pays $20–$21 per hour, with a first pay increase after six months. Travel is minimal, and the position is full-time on-site.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED.
• Experience: 1 year DOT driving experience – waste & recycling experience preferred.
• License: CDL-B & DOT Medical Card.
• Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Compliance: Background check, MVR, and drug screening per policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
• Execute routes and complete jobs within allotted time with quality.
• Operate street sweeper safely and follow traffic laws and site protocols.
• Handle materials safely and dispose according to procedures.
• Report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns promptly to management.
