Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking an Overnight Street Sweeper (CDL B) in Tampa on the 3rd shift. You will drive a street sweeper along assigned routes, perform daily inspections, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

There is a first pay increase at 6 months and minimal travel. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and professional communication with supervisors, teammates, and clients, while supporting our mission to keep streets clean and communities

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• 1 year DOT driving experience – waste & recycling experience preferred.
• CDL-B license and DOT Medical Card are required.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure safety features are functional.
• Route planning and on-time delivery while maintaining quality expectations.
• Safely operate street sweeper and comply with traffic and site protocols.
• Document logs, reports, and any safety concerns promptly.
