Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America is seeking an Overnight Street Sweeper (CDL B) for the 3rd shift in Longwood, FL. This full-time role involves operating a street sweeper, performing safety inspections, and handling materials to keep streets clean and well-maintained.

You will drive the equipment on assigned routes, complete logs, and communicate with supervisors and clients as needed. CDL-B and DOT Medical Card are required, along with being 21+ and having DOT driving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 1 year DOT driving experience – waste & recycling experience preferred.
• CDL-B & DOT Medical Card required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must maintain acceptable driving record and pass MVR, background check, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate street sweeper and other equipment on assigned routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure safety features are functional.
• Review routes, maintain quality, and adhere to schedules.
• Complete required logs, manifests and forms accurately.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors; report issues promptly.
