The City of Broken Arrow is seeking a water/wastewater technician to join our utilities team. Under general supervision, you will assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of the City’s water and wastewater systems, supporting water, sewer, or construction crews as needed.

This safety-sensitive position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience. A valid Oklahoma driver’s license is required, with CDL preferred.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain Oklahoma driver's license; CDL preferred.
• Physical stamina for heavy work and safety-sensitive environment.

Mansioni

• Install and repair water and wastewater lines and mains.
• Repair hydrants, water services, meters, and meter boxes.
• Operate light and heavy equipment.
• Locate sewer and water lines.
• Set up specialized equipment per guidelines.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment; clean work sites.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Complete duties safely and efficiently as assigned.
