Job summary

City of Reynoldsburg is seeking a versatile street and storm water worker. The role involves duties across the Street Department and Storm Water, including equipment operation, sign fabrication, and basic repairs.

You will participate in snow removal and EPA mandated inspections, under unionized conditions. The position requires a valid Ohio Class A CDL with air brakes and tanker endorsements or a plan to obtain within one year.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Two (2) to three (3) years previous experience or training in use of power and/or hand tools.
• Valid Ohio Class A Commercial Driver’s license, with air brakes and tanker endorsements or must obtain one within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy manual labor as required by the city administration.
• Operate maintenance equipment and vehicles used in street and storm water duties.
• Lays gravel in berms and fills potholes with cold patch; washes vehicles/equipment.
• Maintain and repair traffic signs and street name signs; assist with storm water tasks.
• Participate in snow removal operations and EPA mandated inspections.
