Qualifications

• No education requirement.
• Valid Texas driver's license required.
• Must be at least 17 years of age to handle small equipment; at least 18 to operate larger equipment or City of Brenham vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Performs general labor in maintenance of streets, drainage systems and vegetation management.
• Operates small equipment such as weed-eaters, crack sealer and other equipment used in maintenance tasks.
• Performs work with manual tools to paint curbs, medians and other areas needing routine maintenance.
• Assists with general roadway maintenance when needed.
