Job summary

The City of Ann Arbor is seeking a Public Works Technician to safely operate light to heavy equipment for street maintenance projects in the community.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, CDL Endorsement B with Air Brake (CDL A endorsement within 6 months), and prior experience in road maintenance or related fields. This position is represented by AFSCME.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CDL Endorsement B with Air Brake; CDL A endorsement within 6 months of hire.
• Previous experience in road maintenance, underground utility construction or landscape construction.

Job description

Starting Hourly Rate: $23.50
After hire, pay increases are dependent on length of service, advancement in the position, and other contractual factors.
