Job summary

City of Sacramento seeks a supervisor to lay out, assign and oversee street maintenance and related construction work. You will coordinate City crews and contractors, supervise subordinates, and ensure safety and proper record keeping on projects across streets and parking facilities.

Qualifications include at least two years of related experience with supervisory exposure, plus a valid California Class A license during probation. Residency within 35 air miles is required after appointment.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience comparable to a Street Construction Laborer or Street Construction Equipment Operator with the City of Sacramento, or four years outside,” including six months of supervisory experience.
