Job summary

The Municipality of Anchorage is seeking a workforce-ready individual to perform manual labor and operate medium equipment in street maintenance. You will work with a range of equipment and support crews during repairs, sweeping, and drainage tasks.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of equipment operation experience, including one year on medium equipment. CDL may be required later; background checks and drug screening are standard.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Two years' experience in the operation of equipment, with at least one year on medium equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain street maintenance equipment (e.g., flusher trucks, pothole patch trucks, rollers under 5 tons, compactors, forklifts, loaders).
• Perform concrete and paving repairs, pothole patching, street sweeping, brushing, hauling materials, and drainage work as assigned.
