Municipality of Anchorage is seeking a seasonal Maintenance & Operations worker for 5701 Northwood Drive. You will operate light equipment to support street maintenance, including pothole patching, sidewalk repairs, and brush/snow removal.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED with at least 1 year in light equipment operation, a valid Alaska Class B CDL with Tank endorsement, and successful drug and background checks. E-Verify applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience operating light equipment.
• Valid Alaska Class B CDL with Tank endorsement at time of hire.

Responsabilités

• Operate various lightweight equipment under supervision to support street maintenance tasks.
• Patch potholes and replace/repair sidewalks.
• Cut brush and perform snow removal from trails and sidewalks.
• Assist in equipment maintenance (oil/grease/wear surfaces).
• Adhere to drug screenings and background checks; comply with E-Verify.
