Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 months of light equipment operation and maintenance.
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a valid Texas CDL driver's License by date of hire with insurable record.
• CDL Class B certification required within nine (9) months of date of employment.
• A state approved herbicide applicators license within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate light equipment for street repair and maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
• Haul materials and assist in road repair and asphalt work.
• Operate street sweepers, trucks, and related equipment as needed.
• Follow directions, work with others, and maintain regular attendance.
