Copperas Cove is seeking an Equipment Operator to operate light equipment for street repair and maintenance and assist in road work. The role requires outdoor work, teamwork, and reliability.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 months of equipment operation, a Texas CDL Class B license, and a herbicide applicator license within one year of hire; on-call duties apply.
Operates various pieces of light equipment for the purpose of street repair and maintenance, maintains equipment and performs other duties as assigned.
Receives direct supervision from Superintendent Street/Drainage.
Formal application; review of education and experience; oral interview; background check; successful completion of a drug screen; job related test may be required.
Light motorized maintenance/construction equipment; hand tools; mowers; trimmers.
