Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business administration or related field required.
• 1–3 years of experience or service in a supervisory/leadership role.
• Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Directs the overall activities of the Street Maintenance Division.
• Hires, trains, plans, directs, and supervises operations related to street repairs and maintenance.
• Oversees maintenance requests for roads, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, inlets, and city fencing; manages daily fuel truck routes.
• Reviews and responds to DOT inspection reports and special projects; maintains quality city services and morale.
• Monitors citizen complaints/requests and prioritizes crews and materials daily.
• Manages annual contracts and issues specifications with vendors for asphalt, concrete, fencing, tar sealant, and uniforms.
• Establishes and monitors safety programs and CDL training; on-call as needed.
