Job summary

Equans Services Canada & US in Washington, DC is seeking a Street Light Project Coordinator to plan, coordinate, execute, and close street lighting projects safely, on time, and within budget, while conforming to contractual requirements.

The role oversees asset inventories, maintenance, contractor performance, and stakeholder communications, using GIS/CMMS tools, and ensures OSHA safety compliance and environmental permits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in infrastructure, utilities, or public works.
• Experience with municipal or public-sector contracts is preferred.
• Strong understanding of asset management principles and lifecycle planning.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, execute, and close street lighting projects safely and on time.
• Develop schedules and budgets; monitor progress and performance metrics.
• Oversee asset inventories, lifecycle planning, and replacement programs.
• Manage maintenance activities and ensure SLA compliance.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, clients, and leadership; report updates.
