Job summary

Biffa is seeking a Street Cleansing Operative in Lincoln to perform outdoor street cleansing duties, including sweeping and litter picking. The role requires a full UK driving licence for a 3.5-tonne vehicle and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Hours are Friday to Monday, 06:00 to 16:30, with pay at £13.45 per hour. The position offers on-the-job training and benefits through Biffa Perkz and family-friendly policies.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full, valid UK driving licence for a 3.5-tonne vehicle.
• Previous driving experience in a work vehicle preferred.
• Ability to perform street cleansing duties: litter picking, sweeping, bins.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team while following site procedures.
• Good awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions.
• Willingness to wear PPE and follow site procedures.

Location: Lincoln LN5 7JD
Friday to Monday

Start / Finish Times: 06.00 to 16.30

Pay Rate: £13.45p/h

Full, valid UK driving licence allowing the candidate to drive a 3.5-tonne vehicle.

Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.
