Job summary

Biffa is recruiting a LGV 2 Bin Delivery Driver to deliver up to 100 bins per day across designated districts. You will operate an LGV Class 2 vehicle, perform daily checks, and uphold customer service and safety standards.

This role suits someone who enjoys working with initiative, outdoors, and making a tangible impact on the local environment and communities. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Driver CPC qualification held.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous commercial HGV driving experience is preferred.
• Multi-drop delivery experience is desirable.
• Ability to carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Confident following planned routes and collecting items safely.

Responsibilities

• Delivering up to 100 bins per day within South/Vale districts.
• Safely operating an LGV Class 2 vehicle and maintaining safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and complete vehicle checks.
• Operate outdoors and take initiative in a team environment.

LGV 2 Bin Delivery Driver
Days of work: Monday to Friday (42.5 hours per week)
Start and finish times: 05.30 to 15.00

Pay : £19.87p/h Salary £43,912

Delivering up to 100 bins per day within South/Vale districts

Safely operating an LGV Class 2 vehicle to deliver bins to commercial and residential customers, ensuring timely deliveries, completing vehicle checks and maintaining excellent customer service and health and safety standards.
