Job summary

Biffa Waste Services is seeking an LGV Driver Loader at Stamp End Depot to drive waste collection vehicles, load bins, and support street cleansing in local communities. You will work Monday to Friday (40 hours) with shifts 06:15–15:00 and weekend overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety.
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV waste collection vehicles and collect/empty bins from householders.
• Carry out street cleansing tasks such as sweeping and litter picking.
• Work as part of a crew and assist with leading teams when required.

LGV Driver Loader

Location: Stamp End Depot

Days of work: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
Start and finish times: 06.15 to 15.00 (We work bank holidays, double time and a day in lieu or treble)

Pay: £15.06p/h

(Overtime available on weekends)

No more than 6 points

Working as part of a crew, you will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collecting and emptying bins and boxes from householders and carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking..
