Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Stormwater/Stream Restoration Engineer to join our Resilience Water Team in the United States. The role involves leading the development of stream restoration and ecological enhancement projects, interacting with clients and regulators, and growing technical and project management capabilities.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in water resources engineering, a Civil/Environmental-related degree, and an EIT or PE license.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 4 years of experience in stream restoration, natural channel design, or related water resources engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Biological Systems, or related field; EIT or PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, design, permit, and manage stream restoration projects from concept through construction.
• Lead scopes of work, budgets, and schedules; coordinate internal teams and subconsultants.
• Support proposals and client relationships; liaison with regulatory agencies.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with regional teams.
• Travel for field work, site assessments, and project delivery support.
