Job summary

Ardurra Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Water Resources Stream Designer to join our Watershed Practice. The role focuses on designing stream restoration projects, managing deliverables, and guiding multidisciplinary teams to improve watershed health and protect utilities.

You will work with engineers, ecologists, and planners to develop sustainable solutions for urban streams, coordinating field work, modeling, and construction documents. Strong mentoring and client-facing skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Civil, Environmental Engineering, Landscape Architecture or related disciplines.
• Approximately 8 or more years of experience in water resources and stream restoration or stabilization.
• Exposure to stormwater modeling software (HEC-RAS, SWMM, HydroCAD), AutoCAD Civil 3D, and GIS applications is a plus.
• PE certification (or ability to obtain within one year) is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Design stream restoration, stabilization, and enhancement projects using geomorphic and ecological principles.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using software such as SWMM, HEC-RAS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and GIS tools.
• Prepare construction documents including plan sets, grading plans, erosion/sediment control plans, and technical specifications.
• Conduct site evaluations and assist in environmental impact assessments.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative watershed planning and stormwater management solutions.
• Assist in field inspections, data collection, and site assessments.
• Participate in public outreach, stakeholder engagement, and project presentations as needed
