Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Stormwater/Stream Restoration Engineer to join our Resilience Water Team in Fairfax, VA, Richmond, VA, or Washington DC. You will lead and support stream restoration projects, interact with clients, and grow technical and project management skills.

Responsibilities include design, permitting, field assessments, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Biological Systems, or related field.
• EIT or PE license required.
• 4+ years of experience in stream restoration or related water resources engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support stream restoration design, permitting, and construction support.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory agencies.
• Perform field assessments, geomorphic evaluations, hydraulic modeling, and watershed analyses.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to proposals and client relations.
