Job summary

Sceye is seeking an Environmental Testing Engineer to own planning, execution, and continuous improvement of environmental test campaigns for our aerospace platform. This senior IC role validates performance and safety in demanding high-altitude environments, translating system requirements into robust test programs.

You will collaborate with systems, structures, avionics, and operations, mentor growing test teams, and drive TRRs and test readiness reviews with rigor and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and executing environmental test programs.
• Strong understanding of environmental test standards and best practices.
• Ability to own technically complex efforts and collaborate across teams.
• Experience owning test equipment, facilities, or infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and execute environmental test campaigns across multiple domains.
• Translate system requirements into test objectives, margins, procedures, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain proto-qualification, qualification, and acceptance test standards.
• Own test campaigns end to end—from concept through reporting and TRRs.
• Specify, procure, and maintain environmental test equipment and infrastructure.
• Mentor test engineers and technicians as the team grows.
• Analyze test data and present findings to engineering leadership.
• Identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities across programs.
