Job summary

Valor Oil is seeking a skilled logistics pro to join the Strategy, Supply & Distribution (SS&D) team in Florence, KY. You will coordinate daily fuel procurement, manage distribution activities, and communicate with drivers and carriers to ensure on-time deliveries.

You will monitor inventory across Retail and C&I sites, analyze performance metrics, and support market pricing and supply strategies. Weekend/holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily fuel procurement and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery to Valor customer locations.
• Monitor fuel inventory levels across company-managed Retail and C&I sites.
• Communicate daily with drivers and third-party carrier partners to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve logistics issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with fuel suppliers and vendors while supporting procurement activities.
• Track, analyze, and report distribution performance metrics; present weekly updates to the SS&D team.
• Participate in monthly department recap and planning meetings.
• Support terminal market pricing analysis and fuel supply strategy initiatives.
• Assist with transportation coverage and capacity analysis to optimize delivery efficiency.
• Contribute to business development and operational analysis projects as needed.
• Identify and resolve supply chain and distribution challenges to support customer service excellence.

Working closely with Operations, Wholesale Sales, and Retail teams, SS&D drives efficiency through market analysis, strategic planning, and process improvement.
