Job summary

HP is seeking a Strategy & Planning Lead for Applied AI in the United States. This senior role partners with the VP to drive clarity, discipline, and speed across a 120+ person organization.

You will craft executive-ready materials, translate complex AI work into business impact, and lead core operating rhythms and governance with cross-functional leaders. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in strategy/operations, exceptional communication, and strong financial literacy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in business operations, strategy and planning, Chief of Staff roles, or related fields.
• Exceptional executive communication for C-suite audiences.
• Strong business acumen including budgets, headcount, and metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex intake, priorities, multiple stakeholders, and fast-moving deadlines.
• Collaborative and influencing skills; able to work through leaders without direct authority.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MS, or advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality presentations for C-suite and senior audiences.
• Translate AI, platform, and product work into clear business narratives with measurable outcomes.
• Create reusable communication frameworks and recurring forums for updates.
• Design and manage the Applied AI operating cadence (meetings, reviews, OKR checks, planning cycles).
• Drive annual/quarterly priority setting, with clear goals, milestones, and owners.
• Coordinate with finance, HR, and leadership to maintain budgets, headcount, and investments.
• Lead high-priority projects across Digital, ensuring executive visibility and cross-team coordination.
