Job description

The Strategic Planning & Operations for Meta's Communications & Public Affairs team is seeking an experienced professional to drive key programs for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully bringing together cross-functional stakeholders to achieve common goals, demonstrating exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.The Strategic Planning & Operations team is responsible for driving the operations of one of Meta's most strategic teams. This is a highly cross-functional role that partners closely with Communications & Public Affairs leaders to ensure that smart strategies are set, initiatives are rigorously prioritized, and concrete plans are developed. This role is integral to the development and implementation of operational efficiency initiatives and creating high-quality written content for various audiences, including executive leaders.

Strategy & Operations Manager, Communications & Public Affairs Responsibilities:



  • Drive our organization's planning process by running a rigorous organization-wide process and coordinating closely with cross-functional teams
  • Draft weekly reports for executive leadership and the Board of Directors
  • Run our organization's messaging program, ensuring that Communications teams have high quality and up to date messaging, and maintain an executive-level messaging resource
  • Help remove operational roadblocks, escalate misalignments and ensure teams are set up for successful execution
  • Communicate up, down, and across organization to ensure transparency and alignment
  • Design, operationalize, and manage processes that enable the team to move fast and do awesome things
  • continually improve the team's ways of working


Minimum Qualifications:



  • 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, and/or project/program management, communications, or comparable experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience driving complex, cross-functional initiatives


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Prior experience in either management consulting or in-house strategy and operations
  • Prior experience working in technology sector
  • MBA preferred
