Job summary

Xcimer Energy in Denver, CO, is seeking a Strategy & Operations Lead to connect strategic priorities to day-to-day execution across the company. You will partner with Program Management and the Chief of Staff to close gaps between leadership decisions and what gets built, running analyses to prioritize resources, and driving rollout of new operational processes with high quality.

You will own cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, from framing to implementation, ensuring sustainable processes

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, or related field.
• MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
• 5+ years in strategy, business operations, or program management in hardware/engineering contexts.
• Experience designing and rolling out end-to-end operational processes with training.
• Experience with headcount planning, forecast modeling, or workforce planning.
• Experience supporting facilities or space planning across multiple sites.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• High ownership mindset and comfort handling ambiguous cross-functional problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement new operational processes: write clear process docs, design and run training and rollout plans, and own post-implementation adoption reviews.
• Own cross-functional projects end-to-end—from problem definition to implementation and ownership transition.
• Lead headcount planning and demand/supply forecasting for business-operations functions.
• Define and evolve operational knowledge-management and information architecture, driving adoption and content hygiene.
• Maintain a prioritized backlog of identified-but-unresourced process gaps and plan sequencing and resourcing.
• Map end-to-end business data workflows and drive resolution of data/process gaps across teams.
• Translate executive decisions into resourced initiatives with clear owners and timelines.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate operational risks and single points of failure.
• Partner with Finance to build program-level economic models linking decisions to plant economics and investment tradeoffs.
• Represent capacity in program planning with realistic support-function resources.
• Project-manage cross-functional stakeholder groups and report progress to executives.
• Prepare materials to support budget reviews, board updates, and investor reporting.
