Job summary

Xcimer Energy seeks a Strategy & Operations Lead to connect strategic priorities with day-to-day execution. You will partner with Program Management and the Chief of Staff to align decisions with what gets built, drive rollout of new processes, and own cross-functional initiatives end-to-end.

You will lead headcount planning, demand forecasting, and knowledge-management efforts across departments, ensuring aligned, data-driven decisions and sustainable processes as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years in strategy, business operations, program management, or management consulting in hardware/ deep-tech environments.
• Experience designing and rolling out end-to-end operational processes with training and post-implementation follow-through.
• Experience with headcount planning, demand/supply forecasting, or workforce modeling at scale.
• Experience with facilities or space planning across multiple sites.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills linking technical decisions to business outcomes.
• High ownership, low ego, and ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Implement new operational processes: create docs, design training, manage rollout and adoption reviews.
• Manage end-to-end operational projects: coordinate across finance, procurement, IT, facilities, HR.
• Lead headcount planning and demand/supply forecasting to support scaling.
• Develop and maintain knowledge management and information architecture (e.g., Confluence).
• Maintain a backlog of operational gaps and recommend sequencing and resourcing.
• Map data workflows with cross-team colleagues and resolve data/process gaps.
• Translate executive decisions into resourced initiatives with clear owners and timelines.
• Identify operational risks and single points of failure across functions.
• Work with Finance to build program-level economic models guiding investments.
• Collaborate with PMO to align capacity with program plans.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and report progress to executives.
• Prepare materials for budget reviews, board updates, and investor reporting.
