Job description

Strategy Manager Commercial Claims

As a Strategy Manager, you’ll effectively lead and coordinate our teams to support our commercial claims business. You’ll manage our business and operational planning processes from development to implementation, including responsibilities like gathering associate input, compiling operational status reports, and overseeing projects and strategic initiatives. More specifically, you’ll:

  • Lead management and analyst teams to build and maintain reporting to operational leadership on staffing, budgeting, compliance, and performance results
  • Coordinate financial reporting, investment, and day-to-day operations of our offices
  • Collaborate with Department Heads and Operations Chiefs of Staffs to facilitate operational performance reviews and operational process analysis

While ensuring operational success and guiding overall strategy, you’ll collaborate with Operational leaders to deliver valuable reporting, tools and analysis and facilitate initiatives that help drive team effectiveness. You’ll work towards fostering a culture of inclusion where diverse thoughts and perspectives are heard, integrated into strategy, and eventually developed into action plans.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 1+ years Bodily Injury and/or Uninsured Motorist Management experience required
  • Candidate should have thorough knowledge of Bodily Injury/Uninsured Motorist reports and processes and ability to complete complex analyses specific to this function
  • Prior experience in operations, strategy, program management, or leadership roles within insurance, claims, or related field.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Insurance, or a related field preferred.
  • Must be able to, with or without accommodation, perform the essential functions which include, but are not limited to seeing, hearing, typing and speaking
  • Must be able to speak in a professional manner by telephone
  • Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information

Annual Salary

$101,475.00 - $189,625.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
