Job summary

Captive Resources, LLC is seeking a Strategy Manager to support the Chief Strategy Officer. You will lead high-impact analyses driving revenue growth, efficiency, and strategic decision-making.

This role offers exposure to executive leadership and cross-functional influence across the organization. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in strategy or consulting, plus strong analytics, Excel/PowerPoint, and AI tool experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, analytics, or related discipline required; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or related roles.
• Prior experience at a leading strategy consulting firm strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading strategic analyses and managing complex cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives and analyses focused on revenue growth, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation.
• Structure and execute complex business analyses, including market assessments, financial modeling, operational diagnostics, and strategic evaluations.
• Develop executive-level presentations and recommendations for senior leadership and private equity stakeholders.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders across sales, operations, transformation, and other functions to identify opportunities and drive execution of strategic priorities.
• Manage project workstreams independently, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality analyses and recommendations.
• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to align objectives, priorities, and implementation plans.
• Monitor and track progress against strategic initiatives, KPIs, and enterprise goals.
• Support decision-making related to new initiatives, investments, process improvements, and organizational priorities.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members as appropriate.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong strategic thinking capabilities with experience evaluating growth opportunities, operational improvements, and enterprise priorities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, Alteryx) is a plus.
• Experience working with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or Claude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize findings and present recommendations to senior executives.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
