Job summary

White Cap is seeking a senior strategy leader to translate corporate strategy into actionable plans. You will partner with senior leaders, develop governance structures, and drive alignment across functions to achieve measurable outcomes.

The role requires 7+ years in strategy/analytics with strong leadership, communication, and data synthesis skills. Advanced degree preferred and experience presenting to boards will be valued. Travel is moderate and the team operates across multiple functions.

Qualifications

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline and 7+ years of experience in a related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred; 8+ years consulting, analytics, strategy, finance, capital markets, or business operations experience is advantageous.
• Proven ability to synthesize data and develop a compelling business case for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supports and partners with senior leaders to translate strategy into execution and governance.
• Delivers regular performance reports to senior management to guide decision-making.
• Establishes measurement frameworks and scorecards aligned to strategic priorities and financial plans.
• Contributes to Strategy Management Office as a center of excellence for strategy execution.
• Conducts market research to identify trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities in the construction materials distribution sector.
• Leads operational execution of strategies into actionable roadmaps and milestones, tracking progress and outcomes.
• Identifies risks and dependencies across initiatives and recommends mitigation strategies.
• Designs and manages governance forums, review processes, and decision-making cadences.
