Job summary

ITT Inc. invites a Finance/Business Management student to join our Strategy & Business Development Internship in Irvine, CA, from November 2026 to August 2027.

This 40-hour-per-week, on-site role provides hands-on exposure to strategic planning and M&A activities including pipeline screening, business case support, and due diligence. You will work with senior leaders, perform market analyses, and collaborate across units to advance strategic initiatives such as footprint optimization and

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in BS/MBA program in good standing.
• Prior experience in strategy, business development or consulting preferred.
• Proficient in market and competitive research and analysis.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
• Ability to apply strategic frameworks to problems.
• Self-motivated, organized and able to work in a high-demand culture.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with data analysis and Excel modeling a plus.
• Experience with Aerospace Components Manufacturing companies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare market and competitive analyses and presentations to support senior management decision-making.
• Collaborate with other business unit key managers and functions in defining the company strategy.
• Support Strategic Planning process.
• Support M&A targets identification, analysis, cultivation and due diligence activities.
• Support strategic initiatives business case development such as entry strategies, footprint optimization, launch of new products, development of new processes.
