Job summary

ITT Inc. offers a Strategy & Business Development Intern role in Irvine, CA. You will support the annual strategic planning process and assist with mergers and acquisitions by managing target pipelines, creating business cases, and due diligence on active deals.

The internship runs November 2026 to August 2027, full-time on-site. You should be enrolled in a BS/MBA program and demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills, with ITAR US-person eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in BS/MBA in Business Programs in good standing.
• Experience in strategy, business development or consulting preferred.
• Demonstrated market and competitive research proficiency.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to apply strategic frameworks.
• Self-motivated, organized in a high-demand, high-performance environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with stakeholders.
• Experience with Excel modeling is a plus.
• This position requires U.S. ITAR compliance; U.S. person status is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare market and competitive analyses and presentations to support decisions.
• Collaborate with business-unit managers to define company strategy.
• Support the strategic planning process.
• Assist with M&A targets identification, analysis, cultivation and due diligence.
• Support business-case development for strategic initiatives such as entry strategies and footprint optimization.
