Job summary

HII’s Corporate Strategy & Development team is seeking a Summer 2027 intern based in Arlington, VA. The role supports organic and inorganic strategy, including M&A, budget analysis, market development, and strategic initiatives across the enterprise.

You will participate in analysis, financial modeling, and due diligence, while developing briefing materials and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels. The program requires GPA, degree program details, and transcripts for consideration.

Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 or higher required (official transcripts will be required).
• Enrolled in a relevant degree program supporting the company’s business needs.
• Ability to work a 40-hour work week for a minimum of 10 weeks during the summer.

Responsibilities

• Support strategy projects spanning M&A transaction support, defense budget analysis, go-to-market strategy, and new market development.
• Contribute to financial modeling, valuation, and business cases; develop briefing and review materials.
• Perform market research, assist in project management and due diligence, and cultivate relationships across the organization.
