Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking an Associate in Transaction Banking Leadership and Strategy in New York, NY. You will work with senior leaders to define growth strategy, size market opportunities, and develop actionable recommendations to strengthen competitive advantage.

In this multi-disciplinary role, you will collaborate across Product, Engineering, Sales, Finance, Risk and Operations, translating complex financial and technical concepts into concise, executive-level narratives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record and 3–7 years of experience.
Experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm or in an investment banking role.
Strong knowledge of Transaction Banking: liquidity, deposits, payments, and digital/API-led products.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to executives.
Leadership presence and stakeholder management in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution: develop and present growth strategy for TxB; translate objectives into executive-ready materials.
Market & Competitor Intelligence: analyze market trends and competitive positioning to identify opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: align across product, engineering, sales, risk, and operations.
Performance Management: define and monitor KPIs to drive growth and product adoption.
