Strategy Insights and Planning Associate Consultant - Emerging Pharma

ZS's Strategy Insights and Planning teams partner with clients to design and deliver solutions to tackle a broad range of business challenges. Our teams work on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging advanced data analytics and problem-solving techniques. Our recommendations are based on rigorous research, analysis, deep expertise, and thought leadership.

Working with ZS’s Emerging Pharma team, you will collaborate with pre-commercial and growth-stage biotech and smaller pharmaceutical companies. You will work on topics such as preparing for a first launch across all commercial functions or assessing potential for future indications in US and international markets, among other client challenges.

What you’ll do

• Leverage problem-solving skills and frameworks to develop solutions to client business problems.
• Assist in structuring and conducting market and desk research to derive insights and support decision-making.
• Design custom analyses using tools like Excel, Access, Confirmit, and ZS's proprietary software.
• Synthesize and communicate results to clients and ZS teams through oral and written presentations.
• Develop client relationships and serve as a key point of contact for project aspects.
• Support program management, conduct regular status updates, mitigate risks and issues, and drive projects to meet goals and deadlines.
• Enhance problem-solving capabilities and contribute to ZS's overall expertise.
• Mentor and support the development of Associates on your projects and teams.

What you’ll bring

• PhD or Master’s degree with quantitative coursework in fields like business, economics, marketing, psychology, life sciences, or social sciences. In lieu of a PhD, 2-5 years of relevant professional experience will be considered.
