Job summary

Surfline is seeking a Strategy & Insights Lead to tackle stakeholders' most challenging strategic questions across surf, marine, and emerging verticals. You will own recurring reporting, lead deep-dive investigations, and help set the standard for how analysis is framed and communicated across the company.

This highly visible role reports to the Director of Strategy & Insights and will influence strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in analytics, strategy, corporate development, consulting, or related quantitative field.
• Experience building complex business models, especially subscription-based and digital products.
• Ability to distinguish correlation from causation and communicate confidence levels.
• Excellent written communication with the ability to compress analysis into three sentences.

Responsibilities

• Own Monthly and Weekly business reporting end to end, including data integrity and executive narrative.
• Define metric definitions and data models behind company KPIs for consistent reconciliation.
• Lead deep-dive investigations into paid growth constraints and campaign effectiveness.
• Investigate user engagement, activation, and adoption; help design tests to measure them.
• Develop executive-ready presentations and summaries that lead with recommendations.
