Job summary

Gap Inc. is seeking a seasoned strategy professional to join the Strategy & Governance team within the Global Technology Organization (GTO).

You will drive the AOP/LRP planning, lead cross-functional initiatives across data, architecture, engineering and security, and prepare senior executives for key stakeholder meetings. You will articulate clear strategic stories, develop analytical frameworks, and partner across the business to implement priority roadmaps and growth strategies for Gap's

Qualifications

• 12+ years of consulting and corporate strategy experience with deep knowledge of apparel, retail, customer and digital.
• Ability to engage and effectively work with SVP level leaders independently.
• Proven track record as a problem solver and strategic thinker with the ability to rapidly identify key issues and form hypotheses.
• Translate complex ideas into simple, actionable strategic storylines.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect and analyze large data sets.
• Ability to work effectively with senior executives; strong communications and presentations.
• Desire and ability to work in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Drive technology planning through Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Planning (LRP).
• Lead strategic projects across GTS subfunctions - Data, Architecture, Engineering, Security (AI strategy, Data platform strategy, PCI).
• Articulate clear storylines; structure and monitor multiple groups and projects.
• Identify business issues and develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks.
• Build cross-functional partnerships and provide analytical insights and problem solving.
• Conduct market and competitive landscape research to develop recommendations.
