Job summary

Gap Inc. is seeking a Senior Strategy & Governance leader within the Global Technology Organization to define strategy, roadmaps, and growth opportunities for the brand and function partners.

You will work closely with the CIO, Product, Data Office to drive priorities, perform rigorous analyses, and partner with the business to shape long-range plans and critical projects in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of consulting and corporate strategy experience in apparel, retail, customer and digital.
• Able to engage SVP level leaders independently.
• Strong analytical skills with large data sets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Drive Technology company planning through Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Planning (LRP).
• Lead strategic projects across GTS subfunctions – Data, Architecture, Engineering, Security (AI strategy, Data platform strategy, PCI strategy).
• Articulate clear and compelling storylines that drive action; Structure and monitor the work of multiple groups and projects.
• Identify and deconstruct business issues and develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to evaluate strategies.
• Build cross functional partnerships and consensus and support cross functional business partners with analytical insights and problem solving.
• Conduct market & competitive landscape research to develop synthesized recommendations.
