We're partnering with a fast-growing, venture-backed fintech company that is modernizing a large and historically underserved area of consumer financial services.
The company is looking for an exceptional Strategy & Operations professional to work across some of the business's highest-priority strategic and operational initiatives. This is a broad, highly cross-functional role for someone who combines strong analytical horsepower with sound business judgment and the ability to move from strategy into execution.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership and teams across the organization to tackle ambiguous problems, evaluate growth opportunities, improve business performance, and help drive critical initiatives from initial analysis through implementation.
The strongest candidates will combine rigorous strategic and analytical training with genuine operating experience.
We are particularly interested in candidates coming from:
Experience within fintech or financial services is strongly preferred, particularly where candidates have worked on complex consumer, financial, regulatory, marketplace, payments, lending, or data-driven businesses. However, we are open to outstanding candidates from other industries who have operated in similarly complex, fast-moving environments.
This team is not looking for pedigree alone. Candidates need to demonstrate that they have actually owned outcomes.
The most compelling profiles will show evidence of:
4+ years in strategy, operations, consulting, or client-facing delivery roles with direct ownership of diagnosing problems and shipping solutions end-to-end. You may have started your career in consulting, finance, investing, or another analytically rigorous environment, but ideally you have also spent time inside a company, where you have been responsible for execution and have lived with the results of your decisions.
Candidates who have only advised external clients without meaningful implementation or operating ownership are likely to be less competitive.
Likewise, this is not purely a corporate strategy position. The team wants someone who is comfortable moving between high-level strategic thinking and detailed operational execution.
You should be equally comfortable:
Candidates will be particularly compelling if they have experience with some combination of:
This is a chance to join a highly analytical, ambitious company at an important stage of growth and work on initiatives that can materially influence the trajectory of the business.
The role offers broad exposure across the organization, significant access to senior leadership, and the opportunity to take on increasingly substantial ownership as the company scales.
This is particularly attractive for someone who wants to move beyond a narrowly defined strategy role and become a true business operator.
The anticipated base salary range is $140K-$190K, depending on experience, level, and overall fit, plus equity.
