Starr is seeking an Early Careers Consulting Analyst in New York City. You will join Starr Management Consulting, the in-house strategy unit, and collaborate with senior leaders to solve complex business challenges in the insurance industry.

You will frame hypotheses, conduct research, analyze data, and develop insights that inform strategic recommendations for internal clients. This is a full-time, entry-level opportunity designed to grow your consulting and industry knowledge at Starr.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Work with project teams and stakeholders across the enterprise to address Starr’s priorities through collaborative thinking and strategic change.
• Directly contribute to project work such as framing hypotheses, conducting research, performing data collection and analysis, and identifying unique and relevant insights.
• Build deliverables that provide strategic insights and recommendations to internal clients.
• Develop professionally by building internal relationships, a strong knowledge of the insurance industry, and a management consulting skillset.
