Job summary

Redstone Commodity Search is seeking a Strategy Analyst to join the US team and rotate across live priority projects in commodity market research, acquisitions diligence, and international office stand-ups. You will work closely with senior leadership and founders from day one, contributing to strategic plans and market entry opportunities.

The role emphasizes analytical rigor, multi‑project management, and clear communication across diverse stakeholders in the commodities sector.

Qualifications

MBA and/or 2–4 years’ experience in investment banking, management consulting, equity/credit research, corporate development, or corporate strategy.
Strong analytical toolkit spanning financial modelling, market sizing, and primary research.
Comfortable operating across boardroom reviews, site visits with technical teams, and cross‑functional sessions.
Desirable language skills (Chinese, Vietnamese, and/or Japanese).
Role ideally located in Buffalo, NY.

Responsibilities

Produce commodity market studies covering supply and demand fundamentals, pricing trends, and competitive landscape.
Conduct diligence studies on potential acquisitions and ventures, including financial modelling and unit economics analysis.
Build plans for entering new geographical markets and expanding commercially.
Design scalable internal frameworks for pricing, investment review, and KPI dashboards; support portfolio companies on go-to-market and fundraising.
