AVEVA is seeking a Distinguished Technology Strategist to join its Emerging Technology function in the United States. This senior individual contributor role identifies, evaluates, and prioritizes emerging technologies to shape product strategy, architecture, and customer value.

You will partner across Research, Product, Architecture, and Strategy teams to turn insights into clear recommendations that guide long-term investments and innovation direction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, emerging technology research, or similar leadership.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML, industrial IoT, cloud data platforms, edge architectures, and open-source ecosystems.
• Proven ability to analyze complex topics and provide clear guidance for executives.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and aligning across product, engineering, and research organizations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess emerging technologies influencing AVEVA's long-term product and platform strategy.
• Translate technical exploration into business insights, strategic recommendations, and investment priorities.
• Partner with Fellows, product leaders, and R&D to align trends with AVEVA's roadmap.
• Develop technology POVs, frameworks, and playbooks for teams.
