Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Distinguished Technology Strategist for its Emerging Technology function in the United States. You will identify, evaluate, and prioritize new technologies to shape product strategy and investment directions, partnering with Research, Product, Architecture, and Strategy teams.

This senior individual contributor role requires strong communication skills and a track record influencing senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology strategy or similar leadership.
• Knowledge of AI/ML, IIoT, cloud data platforms, edge architectures.
• Ability to translate complex tech topics into actionable guidance.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders across product, engineering, and research.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess emerging technologies with potential to influence AVEVA’s long-term strategy.
• Translate technical exploration into business-relevant insights and priorities.
• Partner with Fellows, product leaders, and R&D to align trends with the roadmap.
• Develop technology POVs, frameworks, and playbooks.
• Communicate findings to enable informed decisions and cross-functional alignment.
