New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYC Health Department) is seeking an Associate Staff Analyst to support the Bureau of Administration and the Center for Population Health Data Science. The role emphasizes coordinating workplace operations, managing facilities, and assisting with budget and procurement-related tasks within a large public health agency.

You will liaise with building management, vendors, and agency partners, ensuring safe and efficient workplace services,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field as listed in the minimum qualifications.
• Alternative: a bachelor's degree with three years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in budget/financial management, personnel or related areas.
• An associate degree with five years of satisfactory full-time professional experience as described above.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workplace operations and administrative services to support the Center for Population Health Data Science in Gotham Center.
• Monitor equipment, supplies, and services and identify improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Support health and safety coordination and emergency management liaison activities.
• Coordinate workforce onboarding/offboarding, workspace resource management, and inventory control.
• Assist executive operations with calendar management, meetings, and logistics.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures and service standards.
