Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Workforce Transformation Intern in the Philadelphia area to gain hands-on experience across organizational change, HR and payroll transformation, and stakeholder collaboration. The role emphasizes supporting project teams, conducting research, and delivering client-ready materials while building critical consulting and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0.
• Digital fluency with technology, data, and basic AI.
• Ability to work in teams and meet deadlines in dynamic environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Intellectual curiosity and willingness to develop professionally, including certifications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams on workforce transformation, HR, payroll, and organizational change initiatives.
• Conduct research and gather information to help teams solve client challenges.
• Create presentations, communications, and other project materials.
• Assist with meeting planning, notes, action items, and project coordination.
• Review and organize data to identify trends and insights.
• Learn how organizations manage change and support employees through transformation.
• Collaborate with teams to support client deliverables and project goals.
• Contribute ideas and bring a fresh perspective to initiatives.
• Build consulting, communication, and problem-solving skills through hands-on experience.
