Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Workforce Manager to lead end-to-end workforce strategy for a large-scale Rapid Data Center Deployment program in Saline, MI. You will forecast demand, allocate resources, manage union labor relations, and own on-site staffing and deployment readiness.

This role requires partnering with account leadership and field teams to ensure schedules, compliance, and budget alignment while maintaining strong stakeholder communications and risk oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations, Human Resource Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in workforce planning, resource management, project delivery, service delivery, field operations, or data center infrastructure environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing large union or represented workforces, including direct experience partnering with union leadership and managing labor relations.

Responsibilities

• Plan demand models translating project timelines into precise headcount, skill, and location requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day workforce allocation, ensuring field teams and subcontractors are vetted and deployed on schedule.
• Manage site-level shift schedules, travel logistics, and coverage rotations to minimize overtime and maintain coverage.
• Serve as the primary onsite communication owner for staffing updates, coverage risks, and resolution plans.
• Coordinate partner onboarding readiness, including required documentation and system access.
