Job summary

The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene seeks a Health Services Manager Non MA at 1006D to oversee workforce development, training coordination, and administrative operations within the Center for Population Health Data Science (CPHDS).

You will manage budgets and procurement, coordinate with fiscal and procurement staff, develop dashboards and reports, supervise staff, and lead special projects to improve performance and service delivery for New Yorkers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with at least 18 months in a managerial capacity in health/public health settings.
• Five years of full-time professional experience in health services settings with managerial responsibility within the last 15 years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee workforce development, training, and administrative support activities across the Center.
• Manage training operations, vendor and procurement coordination, budget and expenditure tracking, and reporting.
• Serve as liaison with fiscal management, procurement staff, and external vendors for payments and documentation.
• Develop and maintain operational dashboards, participation trackers, and evaluation summaries for leadership oversight.
• Direct post-training evaluation activities and prepare summary reports for continuous improvement.
• Lead coordination and implementation of organizational performance improvement initiatives.
