Job summary

Elliott Davis is seeking a Workflow and Resource Allocation Manager to optimize production across Tax industry teams. You will deploy staff, balance workloads, and ensure timely delivery while aligning with firm priorities.

In this role, you will analyze capacity, implement recovery plans for at-risk work, and partner with leaders to maximize efficiency. Strong scheduling, analytics, and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, HR, finance, or related field.
• Minimum two years in Tax Support/Admin roles or related scheduling/production coordination.
• Strong attention to quality, accuracy, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust plans with deadlines and staffing.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day production workflow for assigned industry teams and deploy staff.
• Analyze capacity and proactively restructure schedules before delivery timelines.
• Resolve bottlenecks by reassigning workloads across practice areas.
• Enforce delivery accountability and turnaround times across stages.
• Lead workflow briefings and audit work-in-progress with teams.
• Develop recovery plans for aging or at-risk work and escalate issues.
• Design onboarding workflows for new customers within the master schedule.
• Support long-term scheduling and capacity planning with predictive resources.
• Develop proficiency in CCH Workflow Scheduler and related tools.
• Other duties as assigned.
