Celestix Industries is seeking a proactive Purchase Engineer to manage procurement for custom wiring harness components, ensuring reliable supplier sourcing, on-time material availability, and quality compliance.

The role links procurement strategy with production planning to drive cost efficiency and operational readiness. You will oversee supplier selection, contract negotiations, and logistics for domestic and international deliveries.

Qualifications

• B.E. or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or a related Engineering discipline.
• 3–6 years of experience in procurement within wiring harness or electronics manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of sourcing strategies, ERP systems, and quality management standards.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Procurement & Sourcing: identify suppliers for wires, connectors, terminals, and electrical components.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to achieve cost-effective procurement.
• Develop and maintain long-term supplier relationships.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, and company standards.
• Collaborate with Production and Planning to forecast material requirements.
• Coordinate logistics for domestic and international deliveries.
