Job summary

ACET is hiring a Wing Scheduler to support the 2d Bomb Wing and 2d Operations Group at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. The role focuses on long-range scheduling, tanker prioritization, and agile combat employment planning.

Candidates must have a DoD Secret clearance and at least two years as a squadron aircrew scheduler, with experience using PEX or similar scheduling software. US citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance to access the airfield and military installation.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience working as a squadron aircrew scheduler.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience with PEX or a similar proprietary scheduling program.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive long-range scheduling system covering, at a minimum, the prioritization of tankers and agile combat employment operations.
• Collaborate with operational units to align long-term mission planning with Operations Group objectives.
• Optimize resources and maintain strategic alignment with tenant and associate units, including Air Force Reserve Command and Air National Guard units, and with AFGSC goals.
• Analyze historical mission data to improve future planning.
• Generate detailed reports for Operations Group leadership to inform decision-making.
• Train Operations Group personnel on the long-range scheduling system and conduct knowledge transfer so the Group gains proficiency with the capability.
